Statement

I am deeply interested in exploring states of transformation and enigmatic forms of communication. My work utilizes images of the landscape and nature, focusing on patterns that evoke energy, and repetitive shapes that echo systems and grids. These collections serve as a logbook, a diary, a calendar, and a map, cataloging the intricate complexity of the world. In the studio, my practice intersects photography, collage, printmaking, and digital media. I am curious about how states of being can be embodied within materials and how to manifest the physical through digital processes. This exploration involves various approaches—collecting, editing, altering, repeating, combining, and layering, and feels like solving a puzzle. The final result is a dense arrangement of visual strata that invites infinite possibilities for reflection.
